Rough few weeks

And we officially made it through 2 hospital experiences in

less than 7 weeks. Brody got his tonsils out last Friday---pray

that you or your kids never have to go through that. Maybe adults

can handle it but it is so sad for the little people. We went in at 7:30 AM

and the Doctor didn't show up until 9:30 AM. Try entertaining Brody in

a small 5X5 room for that long. Finally, the nurses helped out and let

him go exploring around the surgical center. The night before he had

seen a kite outside and could not stop talking about it. So he was telling

all of the nurses about it. Then when the Doctor and anesthesiologist

arrived they went along with the kite idea and roped him into going with

them. :( I am sure he was pretty fired up when they didn't have a kite.

When he woke up he was really out of it. I guess kids go into a

fighting mode when coming off the anesthesia. Very sad and scary

for him. He was hooked up to an IV and kept trying to rip it off.

After about an hour and half we got to take him home. He was in

pain the first few days but I think he is feeling better.

Then a quick Noah update---as you can see he is a little

Hoodini (sp?) he was screaming this morning and we found him like

the above. Definitely has a career in magic.

Brody & Noah-First few weeks

Okay. We will stop hogging little Noah and will post some more pictures. I am not going to lie having two kids is equally exhausting and rewarding. Brody has LOVED being a brother and has been very helpful, he will randomly go up to Noah and say you need a hug, or you need a kiss, when he cries Brody will always ask if he is alright. It is so cool to see their little relationship budding this early on.

Some other updates:
Noah weighs 7 lb 5 oz now-when we took Noah to the pediatrician we also learned that Brody has to get his Tonsils, Adenoids out & tubes put in his ears! Poor little guy. He was supposed to have surgery tomorrow but due to a cough that he has we have to reschedule for March 19th.

Other than this we are managing to hold everything together. If anyone needs a baby fix bring the hand sanitizer and come on by! :)
